	Do not separate water damaged photos, wet emulsion is very unstable.
	Keep water damaged photos as cold as possible.
	Personnel should wear clean, disposable gloves and masks.

Packing Water, Fire, Smoke, Soot or Mold Damaged Photographic Documents, Materials and X-Rays

	Place water damaged photo slide stacks, negatives or loose photos into a zip closure plastic bag.
	Sleeved water damaged photos binders or photo albums should be placed into similar bags.
	Pack large quantities of water damaged photo into vinyl crates or plastic lined boxes.
	Pack tightly but do not force water damaged photos into place.
	Affix labels written with a permanent marker to water damaged photos.

All water damaged photos negatives should be frozen immediately!!!!

	Ship photo overnight (UPS or FedEx) Monday through Wednesday.
	Styrene coolers and packets of Blue Ice™ are ideal for photographic material overnight shipping.
	Pack photos in shipping cartons and ship via an overnight service.
	Call Midwest Freeze-Dry at 847-679-4756 and alert us of the incoming water damaged photos shipment.
	Large quantities photographic may require a refrigerated truck, call Midwest Freeze-Dry for assistance.
	Midwest Freeze-Dry will send the crates and an experienced team to pack and ship for you.
