ULTRA-VIOLET MICROORGANISM TREATMENT FOR BOOKS, PAPERS AND SMALL OBJECTS
We now offer UV Irradiation cost effective treatment as a way to control the growth of microorganisms. Timed exposure to low wavelength Ultra-Violet light has been shown to significantly reduce numbers of viable mold and bacteria spores. We can
effectively treat small quantities of material and control microorganism growth. Numerous studies by Universities, industry and governmental agencies have shown the effectiveness of low wavelength UV light against microorganisms. These UV lamps are used in the food and pharmaceutical industry as
well as in cleanrooms and hospitals. If you have fungus (mold) or bacterial problems in your collection, we can help! After UV treatment your items will be encapsulated in plastic, to prevent further contamination.
We can remediate small quantities of materials, including (but not limited to): documents, books, artwork, flight logbooks , wooden objects, architectural drawings, and memorabilia.
